Knowing Our Power!

Renowned writer, lecturer and activist, Gloria Steinem, who has been involved as a leader in feminist and social justice movements for over 40 years will be hosting a dialogue at FIU on October 23. Her last visit to South Florida was in 1972 as a co-founder of the National Women’s Political Caucus. Ms. Steinem travels worldwide as an advocate for equality and is currently at work on her book, Road to the Heart: America As if Everyone Mattered.

Join us for a dialogue and community conversation on the 2012 election as a “turning point” in our national future. Hear how issues in the election will affect you in your daily life and how you can take action! See full FIU News story.
