As part of the continuing Lectures in FIU's Center for Children and Families, Deborah C. Beidel, Ph.D., ABPP, Professor and Director of the doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Central Florida, will speak on "Social Effectiveness Therapy for Children (SET-C): Behavioral Treatment for Children with Social Phobia."
This workshop will cover the following learning objectives:
1. Describe the critical ingredients of Social Effectiveness Therapy for Children (SET-C)
2. Identify the content and procedures used in social skills training
3. Summarize the role of peer generalization in the efficacy of SET-C
4. Construct and efficacious exposure session
