Fishschrift — Applied Cognition and the Cognitive Interview

This is the third call for the submission of titles for talks at "Fishschrift — Applied Cognition and the Cognitive Interview: A conference in honor of Dr. Ron Fisher” to be held at the Kovens Conference Center on the BBC campus of Florida International University on May 19 - May 20, 2016.

We invite you to submit an abstract to present at this conference (75 words). Presentations can cover any topic in Research psychology, but the preference are for topics related to or inspired by the work of Ron Fisher. When you submit your abstract, please indicate if you would like to give a 10, 15, or 20 minute presentation. And please indicate if you would be willing to submit your presentation as a poster instead of a paper — this may be necessary given the overwhelming enthusiasm we have gotten from colleagues about this event.

If we have more presenters than we have time to allot, first priority will be given to former students and post-docs who worked with Dr. Fisher. Second priority for talks will be given to those coming from the most far away (Wellington, New Zealand and Tokyo win) as they are most likely to need to present at the conference to justify their expenses.

If we run out of talking slots, anyone not prioritized as above, can opt to give a poster.

All submissions must be received by January 31, 2016.
A tentative schedule will be complete by February 15, 2016.
Note: These dates are fast approaching.

We’ll need a commitment by April 1 from people not presenting in order to reserve enough lunch.

Please send all abstracts to Dr. Michelle McCauley at mccauley@middlebury.edu .

Queries can be directed towards either Bennett Schwartz, Michelle McCauley, or Nadja Schreiber Compo.
